  1. I didn’t know that. (Had to read some of the comments and then Google)
    A poppy is called a “coquelicot” in fernch. A lovely flower that used to grow in the wheat fields of France. Now almost gone ’cause of herbicides. 🙂 A few nice songs in French about “Gentil coquelicot”.
    The Aussies and new Zealanders fought very bravely in WWI. My grandfather too. He was from Brittany.
    Yes. Never forget. 🙂
